Known as the ‘crack’ of instant noodles due to its addictive taste, Indomie is popular all over the world. The humble instant noodle produced by Indofood is distributed in Australia, Asia, Africa, New Zealand, United States, Canada, Europe the Middle East and of course Malaysia.
Arguably, the most popular range of Indomie is the “Mi Goreng” (stir fry) range which was based on the Indonesian dish of the same name. Delicious as it is, you may be bored of preparing your Indomie the same way. Here are 5 Crazy and possibly new ways to cook your Indomie and take it to the next level.

Mi Goreng Fried Chicken Burger Recipe

Ingredients
1 Pack of Indomie Mi Goreng (Any flavor)
1 Set of Burger Buns
100g Boneless Chicken
Fried Chicken Batter
1 Small Onion Sliced into small pieces
100g of Wombok cut into small pieces
Kecap Manis
Chili Sauce
Instructions
- Mix the flavorings except the powdered flavoring provided in the Mi Goreng package with water
- Marinate the chicken overnight in this mix
- Cut the Wombok into small pieces
- Smash the noodles into small pieces and mix with the powdered flavoring
- Mix the fried chicken batter, chicken and smashed instant noodles
- Chop up the onion into small pieces and fry till golden brown
- Deep fry the battered chicken
- Apply the Kecap Manis onto the first patty and the chili onto the lettuce
- Assemble the burger and serve
*You can use any flavor of Indomie from the Mi Goreng range

Breakfast Indomie Omelet for 1
Ingredients
- 1 pack of Indomie Mi Goreng instant noodles (Chicken Flavor)
- 1/2 cup of sliced chicken hot dogs
- 2 eggs at room temperature
- 1/4 cup of onions (chopped into chunky pieces)
- Olive oil for cooking
- Water for cooking the noodles
Instructions
- Heat water till boiling and cook noodles without the flavor pack
- Strain cooked Indomie noodles and set aside
- Add one teaspoon of olive oil and add it to a large pan
- Heat up the olive oil and throw in the chopped onions and sliced hot dogs
- Stir-fry until golden brown
- Crack two eggs in a large bowl
- Mix Indomie noodles with the eggs and flavor pack
- Fry this mixture for 3 minutes on each side as if you were making a regular omelet
- Place omelet onto a flat plate
- Sprinkle stir-fried onions and sliced hot dogs onto omelet and fold it
- Serve with fruits that you like

Stir Fry Satay Indomie

Ingredients
- 1 pack of Indomie Mi Goreng instant noodles
- 1 tablespoon of satay sauce
- 1/2 cup of leafy vegetables
- 1/4 cup of onions (chopped into chunky pieces)
- 100g of chicken pieces
- Olive oil for cooking
- Water for cooking the noodles
Instructions
- Heat water till boiling and cook noodles without the flavor pack
- Strain cooked Indomie noodles and set aside
- Fry the onions in a large pan
- Add one teaspoon of olive oil, 1 tablespoon of satay sauce, and the flavoring packs into the large pan
- Heat up the sauce
- Add the drained noodles and turn up the heat to medium and fry the noodles
- Finally, throw in the leafy vegetables and fry them up together with the noodles
- Serve on a plate

Mi Goreng Pizza Recipe For 1

Ingredients
1 pack Indomie Mi Goreng spicy beef ribs
1 egg
2 tablespoon sweet chili sauce
1 tablespoon butter
1 1/2 tablespoon tomato sauce
2 tablespoon sweet chili sauce
1 tablespoon tomato paste
2 slices of Edam cheese
1/2-1 slice of chicken ham
1/4 of white onion
1 tablespoon black olives
1 tablespoon green olives
Instructions
- Soak the noodles into a bowl of water for about 10 minutes or until soft
- Drain the noodles, add an egg and mix well
- Heat up a large pan to high heat and melt butter to ensure that the noodles do not stick
- Spread out the noodles evenly throughout the pan
- Cook for 3 minutes on each side or until golden brown
- Remove the noodles and leave it to cool
- Mix tomato paste, sweet chili, and tomato sauce together
- Spread evenly on the noodles and egg, this will form the base of the pizza
- Spread the cheese, ham, onion and both types of olives evenly onto the pizza base
- Put it in the oven on 180 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until cooked
- Serve Your Indomie Pizza

Indomie Nuggets
Ingredients
1 packet Indomie
Instructions
- In a plastic bag, mix the flour, seasoned salt and some salt and pepper.
- In a bowl, mix the eggs with 2 tablespoons water.
- Smash the Indomie into small pieces and place it in a separate bowl
- Shake the chicken pieces in the bag to coat.
- In batches, dip them in the bowl of eggs, then in the bowl of Indomie crumbs.
- Heat about 2 inches of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until a few breadcrumbs dropped in the oil start to sizzle immediately.
- Fry the chicken, in batches if needed, until golden brown and cooked through, a couple minutes per side.
- Drain on a paper towel and serve with chili sauce.
