Brunch is such a in between meal — it falls between breakfast and lunch, so you have all the time in the world to casually get to know your date’s quirks over poached eggs and tea.

Dates don’t always have to happen at night, so here’s our list of romantic brunch places to bring your crush on a date! Or, you know, to drag your significant other out of bed to try every single brunch place.

Breakfast Thieves

Breakfast Thieves, which has its roots in Australia, is located in a glass house, filled with potted plants, and an assortment of wooden and marble furniture.

The wide and bright space can refresh a date. Having delicious brunch also helps with conversation – especially if you happen to like the same food. At Breakfast Thieves, they also offer cakes at the counter and amazing coffee to start off the day.

They even set up an intimate space near the counter where couples can sit on a long stretch of concrete benches and huddle over tiny tables so you’ll have to speak closer to each other’s ears to hear each other better. How thoughtful of their designer!

Fancy Breakfast Club

Fancy Breakfast Club sports a very minimal and clean style of interior design, with white etched walls and light wooden furniture to fill the space. It’s such a gorgeous place that the restaurant is always booked for functions.

The Toast Co.

Toast Co. is a new cafe tucked in an area of shop houses from the colonial era. They specialise in open faced toasts with different kinds of toppings and sides. Who says toasts are boring?

The interior of this old school building is lined with mosaic tiles, and exposed bricks on the walls. Some of their tables and chairs hark from old kopitiam stalls. It doesn’t directly scream romance with its decor, but the simplicity of the decor in an old historical building may be more romantic than you’d think.
