Trip.com policies for modification and cancellation of bookings
Flight tickets
Tickets cannot be modified online once they have been issued. For any concerns please contact the Trip.com support team. In addition, while Trip.com does not charge a fee for changes made to flight reservations, individual airlines may charge a fee based on their policies.
Furthermore, if your ticket status is Ticket Issued, you cannot cancel your order. However, if you haven t paid for the ticket, you can cancel your flight reservation by clicking on the Account tab located on the right-hand side of the navigation bar at the top of the page.
Hotels
To change your reservation, click the booking number and Modify order. Then follow the directions to select and reserve a new hotel. To cancel your entire reservation, click Cancel order. All cancellations and changes after the deadline will be subject to extra fees.
Trains
Trip.com cannot cancel or modify tickets after issue. If change or cancellation is required, please go to the refund window at the boarding station with ticket and valid ID (this should be the same as that used for booking). Change or cancellation at the boarding station will be made according to local railway authority ticket refund regulations.
Cars
You will receive a full refund as long as you cancel the booking before the deadline. If you cancel after the scheduled pickup time, you will receive no refund. If you do not pick up the car, (commonly referred to as a ‘no-show ), you will receive no refund. To cancel your booking, please go to the booking details page and click ‘Cancel .
